Imaging conferences

There are two conferences looking at hyperspectral imaging in Europe this summer. The first, CHII (Conference on Hyperspectral Imaging in Industry) 2016 is being held in Graz, Austria, on 15 and 16 June. A suggested by its name, the conference is focussed on hyperspectral developments for industrial applications. It aims to bring together the main stakeholders in the field of hyperspectral imaging, to exchange knowledge and to plan for future collaboration projects. The conference is based on a concept featuring presentations, seminars, showcases and a brokerage event for pre-planned face-to-face meetings. Details at http://www.chii2016.com.

IASIM (International Association for Spectral Imaging) 2016 is taking place from 3 to 6 July in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, France. These biennial conferences are intended to provide a unified, open, cross-disciplinary and interactive forum for the exchange of information and ideas within the general spectral imaging community, regardless of the spectral or spatial range. IASIM 2016 has a number of important deadlines:

  • 31 March: Deadline for Student scholarship application (free registration and talk)
  • 15 April: Deadline for Abstract submission
  • 1 May: Deadline for Early Bird registration
